Private Lessons

Our private lessons are designed to enrich and clarify your dancing.

That is why, in each individual class, we focus on problems that the student has, or on those aspects of your dance which you would like to improve. We also give private lessons for absolute beginners, preparing them to start dancing in a Milonga and/or attend a group class.

Our private classes can be arranged for individuals, couples or a small group of people.

Stunning shows for any event, but always with the same passion and professionalism.

From performances with one dance couple to a group of dancers we can provide a world-class show. Live music can be arranged, adding that extra special touch to your event, and we can also give tango taster sessions where the audience have a chance to participate.

ABOUT OUR VENUES

We personally choose all of our venues, ensuring that the locations are central and safe, easy to find and have a proper dance floor, clean building and toilets, parking available and a comfortable atmosphere.

We try, where possible, to have mirrors and a barre, to facilitate the learning experience.

ABOUT OUR CLASSES

Our classes are focused in the authentic and traditional Tango Argentino, based on the principals of elegance, posture, presence, connection and musicality, but always ensuring we take care of each student and their individual physical limitations. Every class has a warm up incorporated, to avoid the possibility of injuries during the class, and also at the end of each class we include time for stretching.

Not only do we teach dance steps, but we also pass on to our students the essence of the Tango: from the traditional codes to how to behave in a Milonga (social dance). This ensures that they will be ready to dance in any Milonga, including authentic Milongas from Buenos Aires. We always emphasise musicality and teach how to recognise different orchestras of different years.

In our classes we insist on students regularly changing partners. This enables each student to familiarise themselves with the differences in dance style which exist between individuals, and also means that those students who come to classes without their own dance partner also have an equal opportunity to change partners.

Generally after a lesson we have a Practica time, which is a kind of informal milonga, where the student can practice the movements or technique that they have learned during the class.

We like to create a friendly atmosphere between the teacher and students, in and out of classes, and are always open to receive feedback or critique from our students.
